28 May 2025 | Last week we attended a charity evening as part of the ASLEF The UK Train Drivers Union Annual Conference in Durham City to give a talk on what we do. We were amazed and very grateful to be presented with a cheque for £10,000 & a further £600 from monetary donations. This will give our Mini Bus Fund a huge boost and also support our Summer Holiday Programme. A huge Thank You to all involved.

1 Feb 2025 | We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of a true friend and supporter of the Cheesy Waffles Charity. Alan Ribchester supported us through his three roles with the Rotary Club of Durham, Durham Shakespeare Trust and The Freemen of Durham City. He often called in to visit our members and see how they were doing and funded many fantastic projects over the years. We give thanks and gratitude to Alan for his support, advice and friendship over the last 20 p
