February 2026 | March was a truly special month for the Cheesy Waffles Project as our members came together for our SEND Month 21 Challenges . From the 1st to the 21st of March, members took part in a series of daily activities designed to promote awareness, celebrate individuality, and encourage acceptance of all SEND. 21 Feb 2026 | Last night, some of our ambassadors met with panellists from the key fund. The young members welcomed 4 panelist’s into the skills house provided drinks, told the Key about the ambassadors, and there idea for 21 challenges from March the 1st to the 21st to raise awareness and acceptance for SEND, they went through a PowerPoint spoke about there ideas and the fabulous Ava provided the panelist’s with packs with all our 21 challenges in to look through. 20 Dec 2025 | We had a lovely festive evening at New Ferens Park Football Stadium last night where the Cheesy Waffles FC team played in the National Cup game against Toon inclusion from Newcastle. 1 Nov 2025 | Over the last month our groups have been part of 2 amazing Key fund projects. Our Tuesday night fit club came together to think of ways to do health and wellbeing activities outside of the centre. A trip to South Shields, swimming lengths , riding the slide and a group meal in early October followed by a trip to Alnwick to enjoy some time out in nature at the end of October just a few days ago A massive thank you to The Key for continuing to support our young peo

A special thank you to Cooplands for their food donation towards our buffett, Belmont Social Club for the fantastic venue and to the staff team who helped to put on the event especially Bryce who planned and hosted the whole night.
