Our Saturday Social Adult Group had a productive day yesterday discussing plastic pollution and how it is affecting our planet. Tomorrow is the start of 'The Big Plastic Count' and the group want to encourage others to take part. They also looked at the SEND Review and talked about their experience through school, college and transition into adulthood. They walked through Gilesgate to carry out a litter survey and finished the day with a Meal and a drink at Sambucca Durham.
Our Saturday Social Transitions Group visited Seaton Carew to carry out a Plastic Pollution Survey along the coast and a Recycling and Litter Survey around the area. They did some great research and ended the day enjoying fish & chips and a visit to the Arcades.
